A casi un mes de celebrado el Primer Congreso Virtual de Telesalud y Telemedicina siguen las reacciones positivas de colaboradores y participantes, donde las preguntas que nos hacen son: ¿Para cuándo el otro congreso?, ¿Qué actividad sigue en la AITT?, quiero hacer mención que el congreso fue todo un hito, los temas abordados, en el momento en que se viven en el mundo por la pandemia, por la calidad multinacional de los conferencistas y por la reflexión que nos llevó el evento a resumir que la tecnología está al servicio de la humanidad, en pro de la salud y en el combate al COVID-19, por ello, el entusiasmo de que haya otro evento de esta índole y de esta calidad.
Siendo el Primer Congreso Virtual de Telesalud y Telemedicina 2020 que organiza y ejecuta los miembros de la AITT bajo esta modalidad, considero que fue todo un éxito, tuvimos nuestro aprendizaje en como mejorar y corregir donde tropezamos, pero el equipo esta dispuesto a ello, estaremos trabajado para el 2021 y dar lo mejor en la promoción, difusión y actividades en telesalud y telemedicina entre los países de América Latina, España y Portugal. No esta demás mencionar, que panelistas de la región de Iberoamérica expusieron temas de gran calado sobre Telesalud y Telemedicina y como ha marcado diferencia durante la pandemia del COVID-19, durante los 2 días que duro el evento se expusieron proyectos, experiencias y retos.
Por otro lado, el acceso a la tecnología e internet se han convertido en una herramienta indispensable para contener los múltiples pilares del sostén de una sociedad, entre ellos, uno de los imprescindibles, la salud. El Congreso Virtual se dividió en 4 segmentos bien delimitados con múltiples conferencias con expositores referentes en temas:
- Telesalud y telemedicina en la pandemia COVID-19
- Seguridad en telesalud y telemedicina
- Telesalud y telemedicina y su impacto socioeconómico
- Avances y perspectivas en telesalud y telemedicina
Por último y no menos importante, el Dr. Ramiro Vaca Narvaja Presidente del Primer Congreso Virtual de Telesalud y Telemedicina mencionó que la incorporación de la tecnología en la asistencia de salud es más antigua de lo que podemos imaginar, donde los avances tecnológicos de los últimos veinte años han sido vertiginosos y exponenciales, sin embargo, con la irrupción de la pandemia COVID-19 representa una bisagra en el tiempo, marcando un “antes” y un “después” en el desarrollo e implementación de proyectos de Telesalud y Telemedicina a nivel mundial.
